What should I wear and bring with me?
Wear what you would normally wear to walk along a footpath in the countryside. As you may feel warm during the exercise, layers of clothes are best. Also remember to bring something warm to wear whilst travelling home afterwards. You should wear footwear that will allow you to flex your feet and use the full length of each foot from heel to toe as you stride along. Trainers or lightweight flexible walking/hiking shoes are good (if wet wear waterproof footwear). You may also want to bring non-bulky waterproofs, thin gloves (if cold), a small rucksack to carry your belongings and a filled water bottle. In the summer don't forget sunscreen and a sun hat.
